All about the basics
You don't need to go to law school to understand the basics of law. And the basics are all you need most of the time. This intro course will introduce you to the basics.
Law is all about who's will is in charge. The basics can generally be distilled down to one of two things:
1. You are free to exercise your will on your terms - limited only to the extent necessary for others so capable to be free to do the same;
2. You are not free to exercise your will on your terms - because you have bound yourself to obey the will of another.
If you find yourself unexpectedly bound to obeying the will of another, you have stepped across a legal line somewhere - with some form of consent.
Know where the lines are drawn
When you are able to identify where the legal lines are drawn, you will be able to choose to step across them - or not - at your discretion. You will also recognize when someone is inviting you to step across a line and you will have the option to politely decline if you so choose. If you do not step across their line, someone else's will can have no legal authority over yours. It's up to you to know where the legal lines are drawn.
This information was omitted from your school curriculum. It's available to you now through the introduction to the Nature of Your Person course. Discover what naturally belongs to you: You.
